Voltage Regulators

The REG-D/DA series of voltage regulators for control of transformer tap changers have become the smart standard on many sites around the world. Integrating well developed software with a useful and reliable hardware package – the REG-D’s and REG-DA have proven track records within the industry, and are the benchmark for reliability and performance.

REG-D
The REG-D can be used for control of a single transformer, or networked to others to provide a range of advanced transformer paralleling routines. Recording and measurement with SCADA option provides a comprehensive transformer control solution. With optional statistics and transformer monitoring mode, oil temperature, hot spot and transformer life calculations provide a comprehensive transformer management solution.

REG-DA
Running same settings and firmware as the REG-D, the more recent REG-DA introduces a wider range of mounting options. Typically flush panel mounted, the steel enclosure may also be DIN rail mounted. The REG-DA offers improved terminal access, 1 x mA input as standard and a greater range of internal I/O options.

Petersen Coil Controllers & Earth-fault Detection

REG-DP/DPA
Using the same hardware as REG-D/DA voltage regulators, the REG-DP and REG-DPA are controllers for Petersen coils. Offering powerful and flexible SCADA interface options, the REG-DP/DPA provide full Petersen coil control and monitoring. The controller also provides the interface for the earth-fault detection units, thus simplifying installation.

EOR-D & EOR-3D
The EOR-D relay monitors each feeder in a compensated system and provides prompt and accurate remote indication upon which feeder the earth-fault is located. The EOR-3D can be located thoughout the network to act as fault passage indicators. The EOR-3D allows line crews to quickly identify the area the fault is located within.

Power Quality

PQ-Box 100
The PQ-Box 100 is the latest generation multi-function portable instrument for power, energy and power quality analysis. This robust solid state design is designed for outdoor use, yet boasts 24 bit resolution, 0.1% accuracy and over 1600 measured parameters for advanced engineering analysis. Very simple set up and on screen confirmation of measured values ensures correct connection.

The PQ-Box 100 is supplied with PC software which not only extracts and process pre-recorded data, but also acts as a live recording oscilloscope and harmonic analyser. High speed USB connection permits rapid download of data.

PQI-D/PQI-DA
The PQI-D series of power quality analysers are designed for permanent installation and continuous monitoring of power quality in medium and high voltage networks. Features include voltage quality to EN 50160, high speed fault recorder, event recorder, harmonic analysis and ability to monitor additional I/O points.

Data is downloaded to PC running WinPQ software for display and analysis of data. WinPQ supports the connection of multiple recorders distributed geographically within a network using a variety of communication methods.
